Up a Gum Tree

“When so many wildlife species are on the brink of extinction, it is relatively easy to draw attention to the plight of a particular animal if it has a reputation and appearance for being ‘cuddly’. There is surely no better example of this than the irresistible Koala bear. They, like so many other species, are threatened by encroachment and destruction of their habitat through forest fires and illegal logging, all of course caused by Man. Indeed, their numbers have dropped by 90% in the last ten years. So, Koala bears are only found in relatively small areas of their natural environment. I hope my painting has managed to convey something of these delightfully attractive animals.” Image size: 18½" x 22"(47cm x 56cm) Edition size: 950 Artist signed - £282inc vat (£240+vat) Retail price is shown - oliversart.com offer a discount of up to 15% on this print Orders from outside the European Union are free of VAT £30,000 will be donated from the sale of this print to the David
