“Cheetah like to find a high place from which to see far into the distance. Some years ago, I was out with a game warden in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The rains had arrived. The Landrover was covered in mud and the windscreen wipers had packed up. We stopped under a tree to clean the windscreen, but before we had time to do anything about it, a cheetah jumped on the front of the vehicle. I was sitting in the passenger seat, and before I realised what was happening, my chum wound his window down, put his arm out, grabbed the cheetah's tail and started cleaning the windscreen with it, and the cheetah took no notice!” Image Size: 76 x 38 cm (30” x 15”)
