Tony Kanaan's first Indy Racing League Indycar Series Championship crowned his record-breaking year in the Honda-powered Team 7-Eleven entry. Tony was a model of consistency in the ultra-competitive 16-race season for Andretti Green Racing, setting standards for consecutive top-5 finishes(15), consecutive top-10 finishes (16) and laps led (889). He also became the only driver in American open-wheel racing history to complete every race lap(3,305).
