A tribute to the late Barry Sheene
Barry Sheene became a sporting icon during the 1970's with consecutive
500cc world titles in 1976 and 1977. Major accidents in 1975 at Daytona
and at Silverstone in 1982, leaving shattered limbs held together with
screws proved merely a minor inconvenience to this peoples champion whose
skill and bravery earned him millions of fans around the world.
