Buddy Rice salutes his team as he enters victory lane after a magnificent victory at the 88th running of the Indianapolis 500- Mile Race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. After having won the MBNA Pole Position in the Rahal Letterman Racing Argent Mortgage/Pioneer Panoz G Force- Honda, Buddy led the race for 91 of its 180 laps to put his name alongside the greatest names in American racing history.
