The Clipper ‘Flying Cloud’ arrives at Hong Kong in May 1860, 97 days out of London. En route to Foochow, she will load tea for the return voyage. Of all the American Clippers Flying Cloud had by far the most impressive record.
Robert Taylor’s compelling work, capturing all the hustle and bustle of a Far Eastern port at the height of the tea trade, is now reproduced as a spectacular limited edition print.

Overall print size: 32½ inches wide x 24 inches high.

Signed in pencil by the artist Robert Taylor and printed by mastercraftsmen on archival grade art paper specially imported from France.

Morning Mist (10½ inches wide x 7 inches high) is an accompanying print which views the same harbour scene, but from a different perspective. Initialled by the artist and with corresponding numbers to the main print.
